SegenSolar officially expands operations into Tanzania, building on over two decades of experience in solar distribution.
Founded in 2004 in the UK, we have grown rapidly since. Our company has grown along with the industry; our UK headquarters are complemented by subsidiaries in Europe and South Africa and now Tanzania positioning us to meet the growing demand for solar in Africa.

Residential.
Segen is the largest supplier of residential solar PV, energy storage, and heat systems in Africa. Specialising in delivering complete solar panel kits directly to site and if necessary, next-day collections is available. We provide a one-stop shop for energy solutions.
Our residential solar PV solutions include attractive, all-black, high-output modules with 25-year warranties as standard, two ranges of integrated in-roof solutions, as well as string and micro-inverters.
Commercial.
To ensure that the investment in commercial PV is a good one, we work with the world’s most bankable manufacturers of solar PV and energy storage systems.
It’s important to us that we consistently provide a bespoke service to our commercial trade customers. By working closely with our supply chain, product and technical teams, along with manufacturers directly, we can help to identify the most suitable product set and work within the desired timescales to arrange stock availability to meet the project needs. We’re also able to provide pricing support and forward visibility of prices to ensure that projects even months ahead have relevant information.
